For these picturesI used Nikon D700 and Sigma 20mm F1.8 shuter 5-15s. F2-2.8 Iso 2500.

Yes, the solar minimum is passed. Now activity of the sun will grow.
But to tell under the truth even in 2007-2008 (the minimum of activity) it managed to photograph Polar lights.

Fantastic colors and light levels. They look like they have been digitally "sweetened". I think the 2nd image is my favorite despite the fact that the aurora is faint. The rock in the foreground adds balance as well as scale.
